Some of the best sitters at Bed and BARKfest start off as clients. Claire is a perfect example of that.
When she first called us, she was looking for care for her sweet senior pup, Robbie. We knew right away that we were going to be a fantastic fit. Claire’s attention to detail and deep love for her dog were immediately clear, and we were so honored to be part of Robbie’s care team. Though Robbie has since passed, the impact she had on all of us remains. No one really prepares you for how hard it is to lose a dog you love, and as pet sitters, those goodbyes never get easier.
Today, we are so proud to welcome Claire as part of our sitter team at Bed and BARKfest. She understands the heart behind everything we do, because she’s experienced it from both sides. Her journey from client to caregiver gives her a rare and beautiful perspective that shines through in every pup she welcomes.
Claire is based in Rochester, where she lives above the gym she owns and runs. Her setup is perfect for pups who love extra people time and plenty of movement. She’s created a dog-safe portion of the gym so that her guests can hang out safely and enjoy the energy of group or one-on-one training sessions happening nearby. It’s a truly unique environment, full of love, structure, and social interaction.
And when it’s time to hit the trails, Claire is ready. She lives within walking distance from Rochester Park and the Paint Creek Trail, and as an active personal trainer, she tailors each walk to the pace and needs of your pup. Whether your dog wants to cruise along the trail or take a leisurely stroll, Claire makes sure every outing is just right.
With constant human attention, personalized routines, and a sitter who truly gets what it means to trust someone with your dog, Claire is an incredible addition to our team and a dream come true for any dog parent.
