Meet the Sitter: Nick - A Steady, Reassuring Hand for Your Home and Your Pup

By

Meet Nick, one of our trusted, in-home house sitters known for his calm energy and thoughtful care.

Nick is one of those people you meet and instantly feel at ease around - and dogs feel it too.

From his early days at Bed and BARKfest, it was obvious that Nick had a natural gift with animals, and his experience with us over the years has only strengthened that instinct. Nick has done it all with our team - from walks, drop-ins, and running one of our busiest boarding homes in Royal Oak, to today where he is one of our most trusted house sitters. His experience spans every type of pup and personality.

Nick brings a calm, steady presence into every home. That grounded energy helps dogs feel safe, understood, and settled, especially shy or sensitive pups who need a little extra time to warm up. Many dogs who are typically hesitant around men build trust with Nick surprisingly quickly. Seeing that connection form is always incredible.

He’s also big on enrichment. Whether it’s long walks, structured play, brain games, or interactive activities, Nick tailors each stay to the dog in front of him. High-energy pups get healthy outlets, and more reserved dogs receive patient, thoughtful attention.

Clients consistently come home to a peaceful space and a very happy dog. Nick is tidy, respectful, and intentional, and cares for each home as if it were his own.

Professional, intuitive, and deeply connected to the dogs in his care, Nick is the kind of sitter you can feel confident about from day one.
